180 traffic cops from Meerut joined the Noida Traffic Police on Monday. The new addition is to ensure smooth traffic during peak hours (7am to 9:30pm).
The traffic personnel are deployed on the busiest roads of the city, which include Master Plan (MP) one, two, three and Dadri-Surajpur-Chhalera roads.
Ram Nayan Yadav, SP, Noida Traffic Police, said that all the deployed cops were equipped with gas masks owing to the high pollution levels in the city.
