Only 134 residents, 27 per cent of the 500 total electorate, cast their vote. Newly elected president called upgrading of security system and maintenance as top priorities.

Sector 15A, a residential society in Noida, has elected its new RWA body. While Inderjit Sial was elected president, Sudipta Roy was elected vice-president of the RWA. Ashok Chaturvedi, Shalini Lambah and Minakshi Goil were elected general secretary, joint secretary and treasurer respectively.

Other members of the RWA body are: Manjula jain, Gulrose Monga, Siddhant Sharma, Pooja Aggarwal, Swaran Madan and JP Oberoi.

Polling was held from 1 pm to 3 pm on Sunday under the supervision of election officer, Rahul Sharma. Only 134 residents, who constituted just 27 per cent of the 500 total electorate, turned up at the polling booth to cast their vote.

Speaking after the election, Sial, who was elected president of the RWA for a third time in a row, said upgrading of security system and maintenance is top on his priority list.

“I will continue to serve the sector and try to live up to the expectations of the residents," he asserted.

Ashok Chaturvedi, who assumed the charge of general secretary, told City Spidey that the RWA would work overtime for the betterment of the sector.

Rahul Sharma, the election officer, was content that the polls passed off smoothly.
