Satish Mahana, Minister of Industrial Development, UP and Jai Pratap Singh, UP excise minister and minister in charge of Gautam Budh Nagar visited Noida on Thursday to conduct a review meeting on infrastructural projects of the district. Apart from officials of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna authorities, the meeting also witnessed participation of Noida, Jewar and Dadri MLAs.
A Noida Authority official said that the ministers instructed the authorities to pay importance to issues such as road, water, sewage, health and waste management which afflict the common citizens.
Officials added that the ministers directed them to prepare a proper action plan for tackling Noida’s traffic woes apart from taking care of encroachments.
Dhirendra Singh, MLA of Jewar told City Spidey that the ministers further asked the officials to prepare a roadmap for the Swachh Bharat Mission.
Dhirendra said that farmers issue was also discussed in the meeting as they had received very low compensation in lieu of their land. He further added that Mahana assured them that he will discuss the matter with CM Yogi Adityanath.
“We gave a presentation regarding progress on several projects such as the bridge across the Yamuna which is being built near the Kalindi Kunj barrage and the underpass at NTPC among others. After witnessing the presentation, the ministers asked us to complete these projects as soon as possible,” said an official.
