Gurgaon students outperformed others in Delhi-NCR as the results of the ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) exams were announced by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) on Monday.

Antra Kapoor of Shri Ram School, Moulsari, Gurgaon secured 99.25 percent (commerce) in the Indian School Certificate (Class 12) exams apart from bagging the top position in Delhi NCR. Further, she also came second in the All-India rankings.

Sanjana Hira and Tanushree Pendharkar, both from the same school, bagged 99 percent in humanities apart from securing joint-second position in Delhi-NCR and joint-third nationwide.

Moreover, another student of the school, Jivansh Kakkar scored 98.8 percent and topped the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Class 10) examinations in Delhi NCR.

He secured 100 percent marks in Maths, Music and social studies apart from scoring 97 percent in English, science, and Hindi.

“The overall performance of our school is great and we are proud of the students. We have always followed the policy of imbibing extracurricular activities along with the academics. The hard work of our teachers is visible in the students’ results,” said Manisha Malhotra, school principal.

All major CISCE schools in Gurgaon recorded 100% results. This year, a total of 2,66,011 students appeared for class 10th and 12th examinations conducted by the CISCE board. Among them, nearly 1.84 lakh students appeared for the ICSE exams.
