Homebuyers of group housing societies in Greater Noida have alleged that the authority’s website has not been updated since the last two years. They said that it was last updated on May 11, 2016 when the Greater Noida Authority had issued occupancy and completion certificates of the societies to the builders.

Flat buyers have further alleged that they have made several verbal and online complaints to the authority’s officials regarding the matter, but no action has been undertaken thus far.

Manish Kumar, a resident of Supertech Eco Village 1, Noida Extension told City Spidey that he had made an online complaint on May 14 on the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) of the authority while asking for the occupancy and completion certificate of his society. However, he didn't receive any reply regarding the issue.

When City Spidey questioned BK Tripathi, Additional CEO of Greater Noida Authority regarding the matter, he claimed that he had no idea why the website was not updated.

City Spidey also questioned Padam Singh, Manager of the system department in Greater Noida Authority regarding the issue. However, he answered that the planning department of the authority was not given any details to update.

“Today, the planning department provided details of occupancy and completion certificates of 40 group housing societies and we are updating it now” he said.

He said that the authority will update the website before the evening and from now on will take care to update the occupancy and completion certificates of housing societies from time to time.
