The advisory stated that vehicles coming from the circle in Sector-67 can take a left turn towards Sector-71 to proceed towards DSC road or City Centre.
The traffic police in Noida on Saturday issued an advisory regarding the diversion of traffic route in Sector-60 due to the ongoing Metro construction.
The advisory stated that vehicles coming from the circle in Sector-67 can take a left turn towards Sector-71 to proceed towards DSC road or City Centre.
“Commuters coming from Sector-67 should take a left turn towards Sector-71 and then take U-turn near Sai Temple to go towards the elevated road and Sector-62 to NH24,” read the advisory.
The advisory also stated that vehicles coming from Sector-67 can take a turn towards Balak Nath Tiraha and proceed towards Sector-71 and ahead.
According to traffic police, this diversion will stay for next two months. Construction work of pillars for the Metro is under process and it will take some time to complete. The diversion will be effective till the Metro construction work gets over.
Saurabh Dixit, a resident of Sector 62, said, “Due to this diversion, I spend more time on the road. The diversion has also increased the vehicles on one road and there is heavy traffic during peak hours.”
He also said that commuters were stuck for over an hour during peak hours due to the sudden traffic diversion.
