Dwarka residents interacted with police officials of their area in a meeting organised by Federation of Cooperative Group Housing Societies (FCGHS) on Sunday evening.

ACP of the sub-city, Rajendra Singh listened to people's grievances and said that multiple initiatives have been undertaken to improve the security and safety standards of the sub-city.

He also invited the RWAs to the police stations so that they could understand the functioning of the system in a better manner.

Traffic issues were also a major point of discussion as people claimed that vehicles consistently ignore the red light signals in the sub-city. They asked the police officials to manage traffic during the morning hours near schools in order to minimise chaos in those areas.

Traffic Inspector of the area Dharam Pal Singh assured the residents that adequate measures would be undertaken regarding these matters.

General secretary of FCGHS, Dwarka , Sudha Sinha said to City Spidey, “The federation organises such meetings between different agencies and RWAs from time to time. We want to increase public’s participation in the system in order to bring a change in Dwarka.”
