The National Real Estate Developers’ Council (NARDECO) is all set to organise its second ‘Global Investment Summit 2018’ on June 1 in Gurgaon. The prime objective of the summit will be to discuss the issues affecting real estate sector, including investment, affordable housing for all and single window clearance for real estate projects, among other issues.

Union minister of state for urban affairs and housing Hardeep Singh Puri will be inaugurating the summit in the presence of Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar and finance minister Abhimanyu.

Nardeco said that the latest reforms in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and the potential outcome of various policies implemented in the real estate and infrastructure sectors will be discussed at the summit.

“The one-day summit will have five sessions in which issues such as investment, infrastructure, government clearances for projects and streamlining project finance would be discussed. Special focus would be given to Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway as real estate destinations,” state NAREDCO president Praveen Jain said.

Jain also informed that they have invited the chairmen of RERA from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana to address the issue of delayed projects and speed up the process for implementation of RERA.

“Deliberations during the summit will find investments avenues and seek ways to generate a favourable funding climate within these states,” said Haryana NAREDCO treasurer Pradeep Aggarwal.
