It really doesn’t seem to be a good time for Supertech. A project in Greater Noida’s Eco Village 3 has been put on hold and construction stopped by the Greater Noida Authority. It found that the builder was violating the approved construction plan. The Authority has warned Supertech that the construction site would be sealed if they continued.
This move came soon after a buyer lodged a complaint about the builder not constructing according to plan. Today a team from the Authority inspected the building and found the allegation to be true.
Supertech MD RK Arora told City Spidey, “There are 3,000 flats being constructed in Eco Village 3 and we have even started handing over the flats. How can the Authority suddenly say we are flouting norms? It has not objected to the already-constucted buildings, just the one on which work just started.”
However, KK Singh, officer on special duty (OSD) for the project department, said that the crackdown was on the new towers for which there was no Authority approval.
