A plantation drive was organised at New Kanchanjunga Apartments in Sector-23 in Dwarka on Saturday. Students of Basava International School and the residents of the society planted saplings within the society premise.
General Secretary of a social organization, “Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi,” and resident of New Kanchanjunga Apartments, DC Mathur said, “Today, students of Basava International School came to our society and volunteered for plantation drive. They gifted plants to our president Kuldeep Singh and asked for help during plantation. We planted saplings and made promise to look after them with those children.”
Children and people came together to spread the message of “say no to plastic” and keep the society green. President, Kuldeep Singh, praised the efforts of the children.
