DMRC has also instructed all the parking contractors to use this closing for cleaning of all the parking lots.
To ensure proper security on the eve of Independence Day, the parking facility at Delhi Metro stations in the national capital will be closed from 6 am on Tuesday (14th August, 2018) till 2 pm on Wednesday (15th August, 2018).
The notification for the closing of the parking has been released by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Sunday in view of the security measures adopted on the occasion of Independence Day.
DMRC has also instructed all the parking contractors to use this closing for cleaning of all the parking lots thoroughly to give a message of clean India under “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.” They have also been asked to depute its officials to inspect the parking sites for strict compliance.
