Two boys were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly thrashing two girls following a road mishap in Sector-62 area of Noida. The accused were arrested from the spot and sent to jail.

According to the police, the accused have been identified as Kunal Manchanda and Gagan Bharadwaj. They are natives of Gautam Budh Nagar.

The incident happened on NH-24 at Sector-62 traffic signal on Tuesday morning. Two girls, who were riding a scooter, were hit by a car which was driven by a boy with his friend sitting adjacent to him.

The girl in her complaint told police that the two boys, who were in a Honda City, hit their scooter and thrashed them following an argument. The girls also alleged that both the boys also tried to tear their clothes on the road.

“On Tuesday morning, a Honda City car hit our scooter. Following which, an altercation occurred between us. Both the boys got down of the car and started abusing us. As the argument turned bitter, they started thrashing us and also tried to tear our clothes on the road.
