After the spat between the army veteran and the additional district magistrate became public with both filing cases against each other, the Noida Authority on Thursday demolished the disputed illegal structure constructed by ADM at his residence in Arun Vihar.

The retired colonel Virender Chauhan had made the complaint about the illegal structure to Noida Authority several times. As per people, the illegal structure was the real bone of contention between both of them.

According to a resident, the ADM made an illegal balcony and he also converted the garage into a proper room with a toilet and a water tank above it.

Rajesh Singh, an officer on special duty of Noida Authority told City Spidey that they removed the illegal structure at ADM’s residence after getting the permission from the high level.

The UP government has also suspended the ADM of Muzaffarnagar with immediate effect over his spat with the retired colonel in Noida. 

The colonel was arrested on August 14 and sent to jail on the basis of a complaint filed by the wife of the ADM. An FIR was registered under various IPC sections and sections of SC/ST prevention of atrocities act.

After that, ex-army officers complained to the district magistrate. The DM ordered the police to register FIR against the ADM and his wife.

A counter FIR was lodged by police against the ADM, his wife, driver, gunner and two domestic help under the IPC Sections 120B (punishment for criminal conspiracy), 147 (punishment for rioting), 307 (attempt to murder), 448 (punishment for house-trespass), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), 504 (criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication).

On August 19, Noida police arrested the ADM’s gunner Rahul Nagar (28) and his household help Jitendra Awasthi (26).

CP Singh, the president of Arun Vihar society said that police arrested the ADM’s gunner and household helper but they got the bail due to the power of ADM. He said that they are still trying to get out two boys who came for army training from colonel Virender and his domestic helper on bail.

Meanwhile, SSP Ajay Pal Sharma on Wednesday transferred the Amit Kumar, circle officer (CO), to Dadri and Manish Saxena, station officer (SO) to Surajpur for arresting the retired army officer.

Ex-army officers’ alleged that the CO and SO did not investigate the matter in a fair manner also did not examine the CCTV footage of the park before the arrest.
