Garbage-strewn plots near posh bungalows in sector 31, Noida, are attracting pigs from the adjacent village. Without a boundary wall, the animals have easy access into the residential area.
The unhygienic conditions in the plots draw in pigs, making it a sore sight for the residents of the locality.
Asia Region Head of World Bank, Asheesh Khanna lives in one of the bungalows near the plots. The banker's mother, Rajni Khanna, is distraught with the situation. She took up the matter with the project engineer of Noida Authority, SC Mishra.
The high flying honcho's mother complained that the negligence shown towards sanitation in the elite residential address was appalling. In her distress, she even brought up PM Modi's cleanliness drive.
Predictably, the authorities have said that the matter would be resolved at the earliest.
