According to the residents, the stray dogs enter into the society basement with the help of dog lovers. They said that the dog lovers of the society also feed them in the basement.
Now, the stray dogs have started living in the basement of the society. The residents informed that the dog lovers outrightly denied removing the dogs from the basement when they were requested to do so.
A resident of Supertech Ecociti, Nilu Bhatia, who was also 7-month pregnant, entered the basement with her son last week. Both the stray dogs aggressively ran towards them. She was somehow successful in escaping from the basement.
“After that incident, my son is afraid to go into the basement. The other residents are not going into the basement to take their cars from the basement,” Bhatia added.
Bhatia also said, “Three cases of dog attack have happened in the basement this week. But, the eyes of dog lovers are closed. There are more than 15 dogs in the basement. There are many puppies as well. The number of dogs is rising day by day.”
Residents also said that they will take up the issue with the police and the Noida Authority.
On the other hand, the dog lovers are creating pressure on the residents with the help of the animal rights laws. The residents are at the receiving end due to the dog lovers.
