In view of the farmers’ agitation in NCR, the traffic police of Ghaziabad has issued advisory regarding traffic diversions in the city. The residents are advised to follow them to avoid getting stranded.

Diverted Routes
•    Route from Mohannagar to Vasundhara UP Gate will be closed for motorists
•    Hindon elevated road from raj nagar extension roundabout will be closed 
•    Small passenger vehicles coming from NH 24 will be able to enter Delhi via AVIS cut, Tigri turn, Chhajarsi, Model town through Noida
•    Heavy vehicles coming from Noida will be diverted from Tigri turn to Dasna Lal Kuan
•    Heavy transport vehicles will not be allowed to run on NH 24

Alternate Routes:

Only two main routes are opened to enter the capital
•    Via Mohan Nagar to Seemapuri
•    Via Hindon airport roundabout through Bhopura Tulsi Niketan


Thousands of protesting farmers were stopped today morning at UP Gate from entering Delhi. The farmers reportedly decided to stay put and will resume their journey tomorrow morning. 

The farmers are marching to Delhi to make the government agree to their 15-pointer agenda.
