So what's Cafe Delhi Heights doing in Noida?

Will Noida go for a dish that calls itself Delheighted mutton saag? This brand new eatery thinks so. We second that.

So what's Cafe Delhi Heights doing in Noida?

Okay, these guys have plonked themselves firmly on Delhi's culinary map with their saddi Dilli flavoured burgers and pizzas, pastas and salads. Not to miss the steaks, lamb shanks, laal maas and the humble bread pakora — yes, every dish comes with an added twist that is unmistakeably Dilli.

Now with a brand-new outlet in Noida's latest landmark, DLF Mall of India, the bohemian lounge Cafe Delhi Heights is set to bring these classics, peppered liberally with Delhi-dried seasoning, to Noida residents.

The chain has already tasted success with mall-crawlers in Delhi, with outlets at Promenade (Vasant Kunj), DLF Place (Saket), Terminal 1D (Airport) and Sangam Courtyard (RK Puram). It has also taken its saddi Dilli flavour to Gurgaon, with outlets in Crosspoint Mall, Ambience Mall and Cyber Hub.

“That's what we intend to do," says Vikrant Batra, owner of the chain. "At CDH, we celebrate the ever-evolving culinary journey of Delhi and spread its aroma across NCR. After Gurgaon, Noida is a natural choice."

That's not all. Noida residents have something new to relish too. The menu in Noida's first CDH outlet has a special section called "Something New In Noida”. It lists items specially dished out for Noida foodies. How about Delheighted mutton saag? Tandoori half murg? Punjabi palak choley? As if these aren't enough to make your mouth water, you also have buttery black lentils and tandoor roasted Australian lamb chops. Wash these down with Banta soda, of course!

"Whether you have been living in Delhi for ages or you’re just getting used to it, it doesn’t take long to love the city," says chef Ashish Singh.

Of course, it helps that the furniture is quirky, the colours peppy and the kitchen live and open, with humour literally writ across the walls. And sure, make yourself comfy while you eat: Options range from dhaba-style low seating and booth seating with LCDs to leather seating and a fine-dine area.

Going by a nearly packed house on a weekday evening, just five days after its launch, Noida seems to be loving its newest eatery.
