Green Crusaders, a women’s group in Sector 47, will organise an organic food market every Sunday in the colony’s community centre.
With the rising preference for organic food, people are always on the lookout for stores selling healthy and fresh produce. What could be better than finding these fresh food products in your neighbourhood market?
Keeping this in mind, the residents of Sector 47 in Noida have decided to hold a weekly market for organic food products.
A women’s group in Sector 47— Green Crusaders—along with local RWA organised a market on Sunday in the community centre where organic food, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, tea, flowers were sold. Going forward, the market will be held every Sunday from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm.
Around 15 vendors from NCR display and sold their products to the locals.
The event was inaugurated by Noida Authority CEO Alok Tandon. “This is a good initiative that should be adopted by other RWAs also,” he said.
