As more and more families begin to move into newly constructed residential apartments in Greater Noida West, public transport is set to become a much-sought-after facility.

With that in mind, the Greater Noida Authority (GNA) is planning to ply more than a 100 low-floor buses to connect residents of the area to Greater Noida, Noida, Delhi and Ghaziabad. The routes are being planned in a way that they cover all residential societies in Greater Noida West.

Deepak Agarwal, CEO of GNA, said, “We have plans to provide residents with world-class public transport. Bus stops are being made from the 130-m road to NH24 via Surajpur. For every three to four societies, there will be one bus stand. Apart from this, buses will be plying on other routes of the city too.”

He added that if need be, the number of low-floor buses could also be increased. “This transport plan will come into force from September and I am confident that even when more people start living here, they will not face any problems as far as public transport is concerned,” he added.
