The residents have been facing this problem for a long time now.

A resident of flat number 211, HP Arya said, “We live on the top floor and that is why facing more problems due to the fallen roof. It becomes very difficult to live during the rains. We are also feeling a lot of cold during this year’s winter.”

Arya added that they have raised their complaints to the DDA many times but it has not been repaired.

The RWA of the society has also written multiple times to the DDA about the repairing of the damaged portion and the poor maintenance of common area. But, there has not been any repair work.

President of RWA of Gangotri Apartments, Umesh Kala said, “We are the oldest society in the area. The maintenance work of the common area is already due. We have been writing about this to the DDA but they always pass the buck. This damaged roof is dangerous and must be repaired urgently.”

Vice President of RWA, Vidya Ranjan said, “Earlier, we asked about the maintenance to DDA officials. We also informed to the area representatives that the common areas are getting worse. But, despite their assurance, nothing happened at ground level. They should think upon it seriously.”

Chief Engineer of DDA, RK Singh said that he will take the subject into concern and do the needful.
