Many societies are located away from the main road connecting Noida-Greater Noida West, and residents even need to walk about two and half kilometers to get to autos. Working women feel particularly vulnerable, especially after sundown.
Sumil Jalota, a resident of La Residentia, complained, “If I go to Noida, first I book an auto from Ek Moorti to Kishan Chowk, and then another auto from Kishan Chowk to Noida City Center.”
Recently, a group of residents had approached the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC), requesting the officials to provide them bus services for their last-mile connectivity. They have even written to NMRC on the subject.
