Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri flagged off the train on Monday.
The newly-constructed route from Mayur Vihar Pocket-1 to Lajpat Nagar has been opened for commuters. Now, Hazrat Nizamuddin station will become second busiest transportation hub after the Anand Vihar station.
Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri flagged off the train on Monday. The route is 9.7 km long and it has five stations. The commuters from East Delhi will now be able to go directly to the South Delhi.
