Raj Nagar Extension gets an ear for its grievances

The Federation of Apartment Owners Association of Raj Nagar Extension has taken an initiative towards redressal of the grievances of residents. The office bearers of the federation will, henceforth, visit all the residential societies of the area every Sunday to list the problems of flat owners.

Following the interaction with the residents, the federation will to take up the issues of various societies with concerned officials of the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) for early resolution.

The federation’s campaign for interaction with residents has already kick-started from Gaur Cascade where residents came up with their problems and aspirations.

While some residents of the society stressed the need for a post office and a playground for children, others sought relief from frequent traffic jams in the area. One resident, Amit Kumar, said that a fire station and a police station was mandatory for the area.

Speaking to City Spidey, president of the federation, Pramod Dhankar, blamed GDA officials for lack of development in Raj Nagar Extension. He said residents are facing a lot of problems on account of incomplete or lack of civic amenities.

Dhankar asserted that they will take up the cause of the residents in right earnest through the initiative they have taken.
