Yesterday evening, about 200 residents, including children, women and senior citizens, from various societies and sectors participated in the march. 

Dwarka carries out candle march for Pulwama martyrs

A candle march was organised by the residents of Dwarka yesterday evening at around 7pm to pay homage to the soldiers martyred in Pulwama in a suicide bomb attack.

 

 

About 200 residents, including children, women and senior citizens, from various societies and sectors participated in the march that proceeded towards Ashirwad Chowk market area, chanting slogans against terrorism and Pakistan.

Former MLA of the area, Rajesh Gehlot, and present councillor of Dwarka-A, Nitika Sharma, were also present in the march.
