On the occasion of Women’s Day, achievers from various fields were felicitated for their contribution to the society.
Sweta Singh and Usha Singh of ATS Advantage, Indirapuram
On the occasion of Women’s Day, Cloudnine Hospital in Sector 51, Noida, on Saturday felicitated women achievers and entrepreneurs from Delhi-NCR.
Two women from ATS Advantage in Indirapuram were also awarded for their achievements.
Usha Singh, 64, a retired school teacher and a board member of the AOA of the society, was acknowledged for her many accomplishments. “I’m the only woman member of the AOA in my society. I love to work with the people that’s why I had taken up this job,” she said. Usha also works as a freelance news reader for AIR and Doordarshan.
Sweta Singh, 44, another resident of ATS Advantage, was also honoured on the occasion. An alumni of SRCC, Sweta had recently started her online baking venture. “I always had a passion for baking and decided to convert this passion into a business set up. Receiving the award was very inspiring as I got to meet so many women achievers from my own city,” added Sweta.
In the category of social service, Nisha Rai (40), secretary of AOA at Prateek Wisteria, was also felicitated. “It felt great to be acknowledged for our efforts. Apart from taking care of my responsibilities as AOA secretary, I also handle a self-help group,” added Rai.
