Noida Sec 33, 35 residents bite the dust

Residents of sectors 33 and 35 claim that vehicular movement in the narrow service lane in sector 33 causes dust to fly around in the area, making it difficult to breathe.

Residents blame Noida Authority for the predicament. They claim that authority flouted the dust pollution norms set by National Green Tribunal (NGT) at the adjacent construction sites.

Says MP Singh, General Secretary, RWA Sector 35,  "The traffic diversion plan from the MP-II road to the dilapidated service lane by Noida Authority was haphazard."

Minor road repairs were carried out after the issue was taken up with Noida Authority Additional CEO, Rajesh Prakash.

However, residents are unhappy with the repairs, which have done nothing to resolve the issue.
