City Spidey reporter brings to you scenes from Road No 201, that lies between Sector 3 and 4. Its dilapidated state puts the civic body, and the department concerned in the dock.
People in Dwarka have been facing several issues, bad or damaged roads are one of them.
This particular video captures scenes from Road No 201, which is a master plan road that lies between Sector 3 and 4. The road is in a dilapidated state, with potholes at several spots, posing a severe threat to commuters, especially bikers.
Whenever this issue is raised by City Spidey to the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), the civic agency pays lip service, assuring the public of getting it repaired and making it fully functional at the earliest but the reality is something else. Besides, the officials of the DDA shift the responsibility to the Public Works Department (PWD), stating that being a master plan road, the repair works have to be carried out by the latter. The least the DDA could do was a temporary filling of the road with sub-standard materials when people made a hue and cry over it!
There are societies, apartments, schools and other establishments in front of and nearby this road, making it an important stretch to be used on a regular basis. It is high time that the civic body, department concerned look into the matter seriously, repair it properly and make it absolutely convenient and safe for all.
