Noida: Persistent civic issues plague residents at Antriksh Forest

The residents of Antriksh Forest, a high rise society in Sector 77 of Noida, are facing many civic issues ranging from ongoing construction within premise, supply of water and ineffective safety measures for a long time.

According to residents, the construction work in the society is still underway and due to which dust particles enter the flats. It is leaving people gasping for breath especially the ones who are already having respiratory ailments.

A resident, Akansha Srivastava said that the construction of club house is still underway. “We took flat in 2013 and developer promised to deliver the all amenities including club house at the time of possession of flats. Most of the flat buyers are yet to take possession of flats from the builder,” she added.

Srivastava also brought the issue of contaminated water supply into the society to the fore.

“The water supply to our flats is also of very bad quality. Bad smell usually come from the water. We are forced to use this water for household works. For drinking purpose, we use bottled water and RO system,” she said.

Speaking on the safety measures taken in the society, Srivastava said that there are very few CCTV cameras installed in the society which are not sufficient to ensure safety of the residents.

Among other problems, she spoke about the stray dog menace and lift issues in the society.

When City Spidey tried to contact the maintenance office, they said they are not here to comment.
