Under the aegis of election awareness program, the Ghaziabad district administration would distribute the voter ID cards to the president of Raj Nagar Extension on March 24 morning.

The program of the voter ID card distribution is organised at River Heights society at 11 am. District Magistrate Ritu Maheshwari would also be present at the event along with all the booth level officers.

More than thousand voters from six high rises of Raj Nagar Extension would receive their voter ID cards in the event.

Apart from distribution of the voter ID cards, the officials will also hold a session about using the Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) machines during casting the votes 
2019 is the first general election of India where VVPAT has been introduced in sync with Electronic Voter Machine (EVM).

Ghaziabad to go on polls on April 11.
