It’s been long that the residents have been complaining about dirty water supply to their houses in Noida. Despite the complaints of RWAs belonging to different sectors, the Noida Authority has not taken any serious action.

A resident of Sector 19, Rishipal Singh told City Spidey that dirty water was supplied to his house on Monday. He said that the supplied water also smelled bad. “Dirty water is being supplied two to three days every week in this sector,” he added.

Residents of sector 12, 15, 20, 21, 27, 31, 45, 71, 72 and others sectors of Noida are also complaining about the same problem.

Anuj Singh, a resident of Assotech Celeste Tower, said that they have been getting dirty water for the last 15 days. He also said that the supplied water also stinks.

Peeyush Kumar, a resident of Antriksh Forest, told City Spidey that residents of few of the sectors are also complaining about skin diseases caused by the dirty water.

“In the last few months, the electronic equipment like the washing machine and RO System installed in the houses got malfunctioned due to the bad quality of water supplied to their houses,” he added.

When City Spidey spoke to an official of Jal Nigam of the Noida Authority, he said that the water is treated at the water canal situated at Ghaziabad. He said that the residents will get good quality of water after the cleaning of the canal.

“If the situation does not improve then I will carry out an inspection of the water tank through which the water is supplied to different sectors in the city,” he added.
