A man died after falling from a highrise in Greater Noida West on Tuesday evening. According to police, the deceased, identified as 35-year-old Mohan Sidhaniya, jumped from 16th floor of Nirala Estate, a multi-storey society in Greater Noida West.

In the preliminary investigation, Greater Noida Police found that Sidhaniya was suffering from depression as he had a dispute with his wife from the last couple of years.

“Last night he visited his sister’s flat where he drunk and later jumped from the balcony. We received the complaint and rushed to the spot. The body was sent to postmortem and further investigation is on run. Family dispute is suspected to be the reason behind taking such extreme step,” said a senior police official from Bisrakh police station.
