As the Lok Sabha elections draws closer, the efforts to increase voter turnout is increasing day by day. Many voter awareness campaigns have been started in various parts of the city. Now, the election officer of Noida is taking steps to increase the turnout in the general elections in Noida.

In order to sensitize voters about the importance of voting, the election officer is opting for replica.

As part of the campaign, he has created a replica of polling booth at Shilp Haat in Sector 33A to educate and encourage young voters to take part in the upcoming elections.

While speaking to City Spidey, an officer on duty informed that the idea is garnering good response from the young voters. He said that many youngsters have been seen taking selfies at the spot where the replica of polling booth was kept.

The replica of polling booth is made from waste wood and it is just looking like the original polling booth. People are getting good exposure to the polling booth.

The official further said that awareness materials are placed there through which the people would be educated. Besides this, they also made an artificial tree to attract them. 

All the simulation materials will continue to be displayed till the time election campaigns gets complete.
