Residents of Green Arch, a high-rise in Greater Noida West, have finally reached out to the management of the society to raise their voice against lousy approach in the services after they haven't got any respite from the poor maintenance facilities in their association.
They even handed over a long list of pending works and services, which need to be done on an urgent basis, to the management team. In their eight points memorandum, inhabitants pointed out the beautification and greenery in the society premises.
Residents alleged that greenery is not being maintained properly as green belt area has not been developed yet as per the plan. They demanded that the management need to aid the beauty of parks.
Maintenance and security were another prime concern during the meeting. In term of security, residents pointed out that there is no proper checking of outsiders visiting daily in society. “Replacement of maintenance agency was pending for long for which the management has agreed to replace it with a new one. However, the same promise was made earlier as well and the deadline was November last year but still, we are waiting for,” said Naval Singh, one of the residents.
Residents even pointed out several issues in the common area of the society and requested that these issues needed to be taken seriously for the welfare of society. The inappropriate function of CCTVs, lifts, overflowing water in some area, seepage in the building were key issues raised before the management.
They also informed the management of parking. Residents stated that the management did not maintain the transparency in allotment of parking lots. Apart from all these, residents were annoyed with the broken and scratched glasses in several flats that were not replaced. They also alleged that smoke detectors and fire alarm are not functioning properly.
Ram Rajput, another resident told City Spidey, “Maintenance services are very poor and residents are having a tough time. I have been living here form last one year and have paid maintenance charges in advance for 18 month but services are negligible. We have again requested the management to replace the service agency with some professional. Recently the management has handed over the gym but the irony is that it lacks even basic facilities. We are hopeful that the management will take our grievances seriously and will act on.”
