After protest by parents and objections by the Greater Noida Authority, the management of SKS World School has decided to run prep classes in its old building until the new one gets required permission from the government authorities.

In a message to the parents of school children, school management informed that the academic session for 2019-2020 to start from April 15.

“Dear parents, the new session (2019-2020) will start from 15th April 2019 (Monday) for classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Prep at HS 1. Students need to report in school at 9 am,” a message sent to parents by SKS World School’s principal read.

Amid controversy following school management’s decision to run classes in new under-construction building, this message brought much-needed relief to the parents. The Greater Noida Authority and Fire department had denied permission to run classes in under-construction building.

Gaurav Sharma, one of the parents talking to City Spidey said, “It is a big relief for all parents that school management has decided to run classes in old building.” City Spidey had exclusively reported on April 1 that Greater Noida Authority and Fire department had called the under-construction building unfit to run classes.
