The representatives of Noida Extension Flat Owners Welfare Association (NEFOWA) on Monday met Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Greater Noida Authority to discuss the problems which are prevalent in the Greater Noida West area.

The problems included demand for better roads, sewer system and footover bridge. The meeting was a very extensive one which started at 10.30 am in the morning and continued till 2.30 pm. Along with the CEO, many other important officials also took part in the meeting.

NEFOWA demanded the reconstruction of the service roads at sectors 1, 4, 16, 16B and Techzone 4. They also asked for installation of reflective stickers at all the roundabouts.

Mechanical sweeping was also demanded for all the internal service roads. Requesting to address all the hurdles regarding the supply, the representatives asked for supply of Ganga water as soon as possible.

Absence of parks at sectors 16 and 16B was also discussed in the meeting. The CEO was requested to provide open gyms at all the parks nearby to the societies.

NEFOWA also raised the issue of absence of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at the societies. They also complained about the lesser capacity of STPs which have already been installed.

Abhishek Kumar, president of NEFOWA told City Spidey that, CEO Narendra Bhushan, had ordered the respective officials for timely resolution of the issues.

“We were assured that departments will be directed for quick action on our complaints. In the meantime, we have also formed a team of residents to track the progress of the work. The members of follow-up team will be in direct contact with the CEO to track the progress of work,” Kumar added.

NEFOWA members – Abhishek Kumar, Sanjiv Saxena, Vikas Kumar, Dipankar Singh and Manish Kumar – participated in the meeting.
