Footage from CCTV cameras installed in the housing society shows four men breaking the locks of two flats.
Burglars broke into two flats in the early hours of Monday in Dwarka’s Sector 5 DDA SFS flats.
According to the initial information, burglars entered through the back of the society after cutting the iron grill installed on the boundary wall. The suspects broke the locks of two flats (flat No. 243 and 254) and entered inside.
The occupants of both the houses weren’t home at the time of the incident. Details are awaited about the stolen valuables.
FIR has been filed in the incident and police is investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, general secretary of RWA, Mahesh Gupta, shared videos of CCTV footage among various WhatsApp residents’ groups. The videos, which show four men breaking into two houses, have been shared multiple times among the residents of the sub city.
Gupta said that this is third such incident that has been reported in the society over the past three months.
