Noida: Rs 4 lakh jewellery stolen from Lotus Panache flat

A resident of Lotus Panache, a high-rise apartment in Sector 110 in Noida, has lodged a complaint with Phase-II Police Station for theft of jewellery worth Rs 4 lakhs.

The complainant, Neena Saxena, who works with a private company in the city, stays with her mother in the society. On April 13, she had gone to Delhi for some official work. When she returned home and opened the cupboard to keep her purse, she found that her bag in which she had kept her jewellery was missing.

In her complaint registered on Tuesday, Saxena mentioned that on that day her maid had finished cleaning the house just before she left for Delhi. Her mother was also not at home as she had gone to meet her friend who lives in Sector 37.

Saxena alleged that while cleaning the house, her maid robbed the bag, in which jewellery worth Rs 4 lakh was kept and fled. “I have doubt on my maid,'' she said.

Noida police has registered a complaint of theft. FA Pandhuri, SHO of Phase-II Police Station, said that a complaint has been registered and an investigation is in progress.
