Om does it again!

Students of Om Foundation School in Sector 51, Noida, have achieved 100 per cent pass percentage in the class 10 examination results declared on Saturday.

The school, which provides free education to all its underprivileged students, was in the news last week because of Sulekha Prasad. The daughter of a daily wage laborer, Prasad had topped the school in class 12 examination results.

This year, a total of 22 students from the school had appeared for the CBSE board examinations. Of the 22, one has scored a CGP of 10, five have scored above 9, six have scored above 8, eight students above 7, and two students have scored above 6 in the class 10 exams.

Sanjay Drabu, trustee of the school, told City Spidey that all students were inspired by their seniors. "It was only their hard work that achieved the cent per cent result. They have brought glory to the school," said Drabu. He credited this achievement to all students who spent sleepless night preparing for the examinations.

"This year's results were far better than last year's. There were only three students who scored above 9 last year, which has doubled this year," he added.
