Parmarthi, a social organisation, committed to keeping roads, footpaths and surroundings of the sub-city clean, has been honoured with the 'Swacchta Senani' award by the team of popular TV serial 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' in Mumbai. The award was presented by Asit Modi, the producer of the celebrated sitcom.

Ravi Tandon, founder of the cleanliness NGO and a resident of Pragati Apartments (Sector 11), Dwarka said, “It was a great moment and for me and my team. We worked hard and tried to do our best to contribute towards Clean India mission. Our efforts will resume making the sub-city one of the well-maintained areas across India. I would like to congratulate the people of Dwarka for their continuous support.”
