Free health camp was organized by voluntary organization ANHLGT at SDMC community hall in Sector 23.
A free community health checkup camp was organised on Saturday at the community hall of South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) in Dwarka’s Sector 23. The camp was organised jointly by the Association of Neighbourhood Ladies Get Together (ANHLGT) and Akash Healthcare and Superspeciality Hospital.
About hundred residents got their free check-up done at the camp. The organisers offered services like free ENT consultation, CBC, PAP test, mammography, BMR and general tests.
Cicily Kudiyan, president of ANHLGT, said that more such camps would be organised in the future to help residents. “We organise such camps mainly for women, senior citizens and children. This is an effort on our part to express solidarity with the residents and help the community,” said Cicily.
At the camp, the organisers also urged the residents to actively participate in voting. “We tried our best to make people understand the importance of voting. We asked them to go out in huge numbers and help us achieve hundred percent vote mark,” said Cicily.
