Ghaziabad traffic police has issued an advisory for route diversions in view of ongoing construction work for the flyover at Raj Nagar Extension intersection.
The residents of Raj Nagar Extension and Ghaziabad will face difficulty while commuting on May 14 and 15, as traffic routes will be diverted in view of ongoing construction work for the flyover at Raj Nagar Extension Chauraha (intersection).
Traffic police of Ghaziabad has issued an advisory for route diversions to be in implemented on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Vehicles going towards Meerut through NH-24 would not be allowed to pass through Raj Nagar Extension. These vehicles would have to pass through Rotary roundabout. Similarly, vehicles coming from Meerut would not be allowed to enter Raj Nagar Extension through Meerut road.
The route of ALT center to Raj Nagar Extension would also be closed for two days. The vehicles of this route would have to take service lane from Duhai side to enter Raj Nagar.
Alternatively, commuters can also take Hindon Pusta road to enter Raj Nagar.
SP Traffic SN Singh said that traffic load would be higher in the city over the next two days. "However, to tackle this, we have deployed traffic personnel on every major intersection and junction in the city," he added.
