NEFOWA submitted a memorandum with details of the issues affecting the societies at Greater Noida West.

The members of Noida Extension Flat Owners Welfare Association (NEFOWA) met with Chief Executive Officer of Greater Noida Authority to discuss many issues prevalent in the area.

They submitted a memorandum with details of the issues affecting the societies at Greater Noida West. Their main concern was absence of guest parking facility inside the societies. As well, they also raised the issues related to improving the condition of roads and sanitation in the area.

The NEFOWA team, which was led by Abhishek Kumar, demanded the changes in the bye-laws for facility of guest parking inside the societies. They alleged that due to the absence of rule regarding the guest parking in the bye-laws, most of the builders don't make arrangements for guest parking.

They also mentioned that it is mandatory for the builders to make arrangements for guest parking under bye-laws of Noida Authority and Ghaziabad Development Authority.

In the absence of guest parking facility inside societies, people usually park their vehicles on the service roads outside the societies which causes encroachments. In such a scenario, there is also not proper security of the vehicles.

“The vehicles thefts have also become common outside the societies these days. Gaur City is an example of this. Vehicles are parked outside the societies which greatly affects smooth movement of vehicles on the roads,” said Vikash Kumar, one of the NEFOWA member.

The incidents of thefts have also been frequently reported from outside the societies such as Panchsheel Greens, Cherry County, Gaur City, Eco Village and others.

The CEO has assured that after studying the bye-laws of Noida Authority and Ghaziabad Development Authority, he will propose it in the next board meeting.
