People feel cheated when they do not get facilities even after spending crores of rupees for development of infrastructure. The residents, living at NBCC Green View society in Sector 37D, Gurugram, are worried ahead of monsoon as the approach road has yet not been constructed.
In 2010, the society had paid around Rs 45 crore as infrastructure development charge to the government. Despite that, no approach road has been constructed either from the side of Sector 37D or from the side of Dwarka Expressway.
A new Gurugram is being developed new Dwarka Expressway. As the area is still developing, the residents are facing a lot of difficulties. Few of the societies are located close to the city and villages but still the situation is same.
The residents of NBCC Green View are worried as the present road has big potholes which will create problems when there is rain. They fear that the society will turn into a island after heavy rain. They pointed that if there is a health emergency, then it will be very difficult to address it.
The President of NBCC Green View society G Mohanty, Vice President SC Kaushik, General Secretary Niraj Kumar Gupta and Joint Secretary Randhir Singh have raised the issue on CM window.
They have also written letters to all the top officials of Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran. They pointed out that school going children and patients might face difficulty in case of heavy rains.
“Despite the society got occupancy certificate in 2017, there is no connecting road. No emergency services can be availed due to lack of good connectivity. We are forced to use this bad road for commuting,” said Yadvendra Yadav, a resident of the society.
People are hassled on daily basis due to bad condition of the present road. People are vulnerable for accidents. At present, about 50 families are residing in the society.
