Residents of high rises in sectors 70 to 79, Noida, have decided to raise their issues with Noida Authority. They said that they were not raising the issues as officers were busy in Lok Sabha elections. But, as it has already been completed, they will be raising the issues before them.
D K Singh, a resident Sector 75, told that he had visited officials around a month ago with several issues but he was given excuse that order for purchasing street lights could not be given as the model code of conduct for general elections was effective.
He complained that roads at junctures besides different residential societies like Antriksh Golf View-2 Apartments, Mahagun Moderne, Hyde Park, Civitech Sampriti, Supertech Capetown presently remain dark as there are no street lights. Due to this, residents are forced to walk in the dark. While passing by, they face regular inconvenience.
He further complained that development of a proposed park between Golf View -2 and Mahagun Moderne could not begin due to model code of conduct. “We will take this issue with officials now as the result of election is out,” he added.
Many societies of these sectors are not connected with sewer lines. Residents told that they will urge officials to not only connect these societies with sewer lines but ask them to begin sewer treatment at the plant in Sector 115, Noida. It is required as it is currently causing problems with flooding in the open areas of these sectors.
An official with Noida Authority admitted that these demands are pending and they will start forwarding the files for approval.
