Winners and prizes will be announced on June 2.
Good news for all the sports enthusiasts residing in the society as Park Avenue, part of Gaur City 1 in Greater Noida West, has started a week-long sporting event named 'Khel Mahotsava', starting May 26.
The objective of organising this event is to attract people of all the age groups to take part in indoor and outdoor sports like table tennis, carrom, chess, badminton, basketball, and swimming, etc.
The thought of holding such a sporting event came from a group of residents who are also the members of Park Avenue Cultural Committee.
Talking to City Spidey about it, one of the members of the committee Gaurav Gupta said, "We are trying to provide a better environment in the society and nothing is better than sports. There is no age bar so everybody can participate in it."
Ankur Srivastava, one of the residents who participated in the TT tournament, shared his views saying, " It was a very lively atmosphere. Children enjoyed a lot. Such activities keep everyone fit besides providing enormous fun. I want to thank the organisers for putting in all the efforts to make it a success."
Winners and prizes will be announced on June 2, on the day of its conclusion.
