Dwarka: Dumped silt, open drains on footpath create mess for pedestrians

City Spidey, in its continuous effort to highlight basic civic issues, has come up with a video report which shows the poor state of a footpath near Sector 5 market of the sub-city.

Though the bus stand located in the middle of the footpath can be seen maintained well, either side of it is dumped with silt, which was supposedly left as it is after the work related to cleaning of drains was carried out by the civic body concerned.

Besides, the drains on the footpath can be been left open, making it difficult and dangerous for pedestrians to walk over.

The department concerned, looking after these works, should take this issue into their concern and do the needful in order to make the footpath completely safe and available for the walkers.
