The competition was part of a program, Fun Utsav, which was held by the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) and Saksham Foundation Play Helping Hand.
To commemorate the World Environment Day, over 500 school-going children participated in a drawing competition organised at City Forest in Raj Nagar Extension on Saturday.

“The motive behind this competition was to make children aware about the environment,” said Namita Gaur, organiser of the event.
The other attractions of the event were zumba, aerobics, dance and singing. The children received prizes from the hands of chief guest, Ghaziabad Mayor Asha Sharma.
Meanwhile, GDA Vice Chairperson encouraged the children to plant as many trees as possible.
