Taking cognizance of the complaints, the District Fee Regulatory Committee (DFRC) has sent notices to 31 schools for hearing on June 15 in Noida. The hearings will be conducted in the presence of District Magistrate BN Singh.
All the schools have been asked to appear during hearings beginning 11 am at DM camp office in Sector 27. There will be scrutinies of the fee structures of these schools.
The schools have been asked to present the description of fees collected in the financial years 2015-16 to 2019-20. As well, they will also be presenting the facts related to salaries paid to the teachers at these schools.
The schools will also be furnishing details of the fees collected from the complainants since 2015. Secretary of the DFRC and DIOS, PK Upadhayay said, “A total of 31 schools operating in the district have been called for hearing in the matter.”
The prominent schools, which are called for hearing, are DPS, Greater Noida; Cambridge School, Noida; Khetan Public School, Noida; Ryan International School, Noida; Apeejay School, Noida; Modern School, Noida; Father Agnel School, Noida; SKS World School, Greater Noida and others.
The complainants will also be present during the hearing.
