The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) has issued a notice to Prateek Group, a private developer who is coming up with a housing project in Siddharth Vihar, for violating rules laid by the National Green Tribunal (NGT). This was informed by the office of the Municipal Commissioner.

As per the information, the notice was issued for a fine to be imposed for keeping construction material uncovered in the open. The matter came to light on Wednesday when Municipal Commissioner Dinesh Chandra Singh, during his visit to the area.

"Besides, mud from the excavated construction site was also found littered alongside the road," added the official from Commissioner's office.

The commissioner then directed Moinuddin, chief engineer with GMC, to issue a notice to the developer and impose a penalty on him.

City Spidey tried to reach officials from the Prateek Group but they were unavailable to comment on the matter.
