City Spidey tried to contact Unitech Limited in this regard but they were unavailable to comment.
Residents of Fresco Apartments, a high-rise in Gurugram's Nirvana Country (Sector 50), are now deeply concerned about their safety after a shaft wall, all of a sudden, fell down from the terrace of Tower 14 on Wednesday. Fortunately, no one got injured during the incident.
Without making any delay, people apprised about it to the management of the society but no action was taken or assurance was given in this regard. Left with no option, residents approached the builder too but he was not available to address the issue.
Talking to City Spidey, one of the residents of the society Rohit Jalan said, "Thankfully no one got hurt! Well, it could have been a coincidence but a major mishap got averted. The wall could have fallen on any individual crossing that area and may have lead to injury or death. It is becoming dangerous for people living here."
Stating that such incidents have taken place within the society premises earlier also, residents alleged that the callous approach of the builder might claim their lives anytime!
They have registered an FIR against Unitech Limited- the developer of Fresco. Besides, they have demanded a prompt and strict action to resolve this issue.
